No! It is against the federal law to ship a firearm to someone’s home. Every modern firearm, with the exception of black powder in most states, requires shipment to a licensed dealer. The dealer must hold a current Federal Firearms License (FFL). The dealer can be of your choice and if you need help finding one, we can assist you with that. We will contact the dealer for their current copy of their FFL license. Our shipping staff can answer any questions that may arise regarding shipping, just give them a call at 1-877-887-4867.
Depending on the edition, on average it can take from 6 to 8 months to produce. Timing can also vary on the availability of the base firearm. We do our best to plan ahead, but the market is susceptible to unexpected changes. That is why we give you an average time frame. Some take less time, some take more. We have three payment options. Pay in full, half down-half prior to shipping, and layaway. Depending on your payments, we can start production right away or when you’re close to paying off your firearm(s). If you are on layaway, your firearm will not go into production until it is half way paid off. If you are planning to send in a check for your down payment, what we call a wait on check (WOC), you have 45 days from the day you order for us to receive your check or the order will automatically be canceled. You also can not put the PROOF or number ONE of any edition on hold with a check or money order.
Your firearm will go through production once you put half down. Final payment must be received prior to shipment. We allow a customer up to 15 months to pay off the firearm. The minimum monthly payment is $200.00.If a payment is missed, a notification letter will be sent out to you. Any order with four months non-payment and no communication will be considered delinquent and cancelled with a $75.00 cancellation fee. Any order with six continuous months of non-payments and no communication will be considered non-refundable.
We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover; we are able to set up automatic payments via credit card. Money orders and checks are also accepted. At this time we do not accept electronic checks.

This is our policy that we follow for all cancellations and/or refunds. If you have any questions on this policy please give us a call at 1-877-887-4867.
An edition number is the number we assign to a limited project. (ex 1 of 100, 45 of 50,etc). Our customers are at a first come first serve basis and they can choose their edition numbers as long as it’s available. The serial number is quite different; it is assigned by the manufacturer of the actual firearm, so when the gun is registered under your name, the serial number is what’s used to track your firearm. You are able to choose your edition number, but serial numbers are random. You cannot put the PROOF or number ONE of any edition on hold with a check or money order.
You can pick up your firearm at an FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer. If you do not know of an FFL dealer, please let us know and we will be happy to find one for you. We have transferred firearms all over the country and we are capable of finding a local dealer in your area. An FFL dealer (also known as a gun dealer) usually requires a transfer fee to pick up the firearm. The transfer fee is NOT associated with American Legacy Firearms and the charge is entirely up to the dealer. If you are a customer that carries an FFL license, please inform your sales representative.
With our layaway plan, we require that you put down a $200 deposit with monthly payments of at least $200. If you decide not to go with our layaway plan, you can put half down and pay the other half at a later time, or you can pay the firearm in full. If you are unable to make a payment, please inform your sales representative and they will be happy to work with your payment schedule. We do NOT charge any interest or late fees. If you are planning to send in a check for your down payment, what we call a wait on check (WOC), you have 45 days from the day you order for us to receive your check or the order will automatically be canceled. You also can not put the PROOF or number ONE of any edition on hold with a check or money order.
YES! It is YOUR responsibility to know if you’re able to pass a background check. We at American Legacy Firearms strongly advise our customers to check their state regulations; depending on where you live, some rules will differ from state to state. Contact your local law enforcement or gun dealer if you have any concerns. Automatic disqualifications include: dishonorable discharge, felony conviction, and domestic violence of any kind. If you fail your background check, fees will apply. Please see cancellation policy.
Weather permitting; it can take up to 4-7 days for it to arrive at the gun dealer’s location. It also depends on the shipping carrier. We typically use U.S Postal and FedEx to deliver our firearms. The gun dealer will have your contact information and let you know when your firearm has arrived. If a customer has any inquires in regards to shipping, they are more than welcome to call their sales representative and they’ll connect you with our shipping department.
