The area now called Cumming was first inhabited by Cherokee and Creek tribes in 1755. The two tribes fought for many years, until the Cherokees won the Battle of Taliwa, forcing the Creek tribes to move south. The Cherokee coexisted with white settlers until gold was discovered in the area in 1828. Settlers that moved to Cumming to mine for gold pushed for the removal of the Cherokee. This movemnt became known as “the Trail of Tears.” Wanting to recognize this rich history, American Legacy Firearms is producing the Cumming Heritage Revolver to hand down to the next generation.
To represent the values of Cumming, we present the Cumming Heritage Revolver on a fully-functional Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum. The artwork beautifully showcases certain people, industries, and events that have impacted Cumming’s history. This 24 karat gold-plated revolver is the perfect example of great quality and craftsmanship. The engravings on the metal and wood are all hand drawn to fit the gun perfectly.
